I was really nervous as this was my first time but Emma really put me at ease. She is so calm and efficient. She used a topical anesthetic and ice packs and I must say it really was almost painless. I love the result, my lips feel smooth and look natural, just fuller. I will definitely be going back to see Emma for my frown lines next. 100% recommended.

Emma is amazing! She takes a real interest in her clients and provides excellent care both before and after procedures. I’ve been having Botox for years now, having just moved to the area I needed to find someone new to provide this service. I’m so glad I found Emma she is definitely the best person I’ve been to!

Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin. A device with fine needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin. Results can include improved texture and firmness, as well as a reduction in scars, pore size, and marks.
Microneedling is a technique involving using multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma. This trauma prompts the derma, a deeper layer of skin, to rebuild. Microneedling may help address many skin-related complaints: •wrinkles •scarring •acne •alopecia •skin pigmentation issues •stretch marks •rosacea •loose skin
What makes having a treatment different at The Babington Clinic?
All my patients will receive a complementary skincare plan based on their skin needs. This will maximise outcomes of your treatments and prolong their effects. The plan will include medical grade products which means they are more potent and concentrated, unlike products you find on the high street. You will receive a link with my recommendations from a concierge service I use called GetHarley via email and WhatsApp. With this link you can order products straight to your door and delivery is 1-2 days usually.
If you have questions for me, just reply to the message and I will be able to guide you remotely even after you’ve started using the products. A complete skincare service, from Consultation to Clinic treatment, from homecare recommendations to aftercare.

Choose a Registered Health Care Professional. In the right hands treatments have a good safety record. In the wrong hands, the results are much less predictable. Ask to see the Health Care Practitioners credentials. What experience does the Practitioner have, and are they registered with a governing body? Do they know what to do in an emergency and have they got appropriate kit? Is it legal?
Check for appropriate insurance. Specialists should have appropriate medical indemnity insurance.
Visit the clinic first. You must feel comfortable so take advantage of Consultations. Is it calm, peaceful, clean and safe or a rented back room that is not patient centred for cosmetic treatments?
Check whether a range of facial aesthetic treatments is on offer. Most reputable clinics offer a choice of different facial aesthetics treatments for wrinkle reduction and skincare. This because no two people are the same.
Find out whether aesthetics treatments are offered regularly. Are they a pop-up salon or can you get get hold of the Practitioner in case of an emergency or follow up?
Book a consultation. Reputable facial aesthetic clinics encourage you to book a consultation. If the clinic seems to be too focused on ‘selling’, don’t be afraid to walk away.
Ask about the clinic’s follow-up service. Some treatments have immediate effects while others may take some weeks before you see the full effect. A good specialist will usually offer you a follow-up appointment. Does the Practitioner know how to deal with side effects or complications themselves?
Cheapest is not always best. It’s important to avoid selecting a specialist purely on price. In doing so you may find yourself in the hands of an inexperienced, unqualified or uninsured practitioner. Be wary of special offers.
Ask for proof. Do you have friends who can recommend a facial aesthetics clinic? Do they have reviews or offer before and after pictures?
Know what to expect. A good specialist will give you information about your post-treatment care and be happy to explain how a treatment works in more detail.
The non-surgical brow lift is a popular procedure that gives you more defined brows and a more youthful, awake-looking eye area. The difference is subtle, but significant enough to be a common request. A more visible eyelid as a result also means a larger canvas for eye makeup, which is a selling point for many of my patients.
If you’re wondering what can be done to open your eyes and raise your eyebrows, this may be a treatment appropriate for you. Options for the eye area at The Babington Clinic include wrinkle relaxing, injectable skinboosters, medical grade skincare. Consultation is required to discuss a personalised plan just for you. Treatments are not permanent. You can try it, and if you don’t like it, don’t do it again. If you decide the treatment is right for you, then consistency is key.
Treatments are both art and science, and you need to seek out an expert Health Care Professional. If placed incorrectly, it can actually flatten the brow arch, and could even lead to a droopy eyelid. I truly believe that it’s all the in the eyes, don’t you?
These treatments are ideal for those who do not need to undergo permanent, surgical treatment options, who have retained better skin quality and less tissue laxity. It is for those seeking a quick, temporary and cost-effective method of looking fresher.
It is not painful! It is a treatment that requires no anaesthetic/ numbing as it’s fairly comfortable and quick. Injections are very shallow, meaning that it is injected just below the surface of the skin and into the target muscle, where it remains.
There is hardly any downtime! Minimal recovery time and effective results are two of the treatment’s most alluring features. Recovery time will vary depending on the treatment type you receive, however this is generally limited to reducing activity afterwards and keeping the area clean. Any redness, raised injection points subside by the time you get home. The treatment has been in use for decades and continues to be researched.
It is temporary, and that reassures people! The effects last on average 4 months with a range of 3-6 months. Maintenance treatments are therefore required to maintain the look. Consistency will lead to longevity!
Am I suitable? In general, treatments are well-tolerated, but there are a few things to be aware of before your treatment. You are assessed for suitability for treatment during a Consultation and risks/benefits discussed. Alternative treatments are recommended depending on your skin needs. Skinboosters, Profhilo, dermal fillers, skin peels and medium grade skincare will be discussed as part of a personalised treatment plan. If you would like to discuss skin treatment options for you, book your Appointment now via link in bio.
